Hav- & Ordbruket MMBlytt Ltd N is in the planning phase of an innovative concept known as the Artist Residency, or the abbreviated Art Res Europe, situated on the west coast of Norway. This location offers a scenic view of Hjeltefjorden, Herdla, Øygarden, and Fedje, alongside an expansive view of the North Atlantic, the surrounding mountains, and distant icebergs on the horizon. The residency is located in Straume, within the Øygarden municipality, conveniently positioned just outside of Bergen. It is easily accessible from Flesland Airport, Bergen Train Station, and Bergen Bus Station (Skyss Platform/GATE G). The area features excellent public transportation options to Landstedet/AR and other facilities. Art R’et will provide daytime seminars and short-term accommodation, including full-time and exclusive short-term rentals for up to five guests (one room will be designated for security reasons concerning personal belongings and artwork).

Beautiful & artisticly view to the Sea (Hjeltefjorden) and The North Atlantic Ocean.
Spend time away from your normal routine to focus deeply on your creative practice, make new work, or research ideas. Rent a small boat if you want, fishing crabs & cod etc – or join at MMbooks /MMblytt Ltd N for a short sailing trip.
