This location offers a scenic view of Hjeltefjorden, Herdla, Øygarden, and Fedje, alongside an small and stunning view of the North Atlantic Ocean, – also to the surrounding mountains, and the night light from the distant mountains in Sogn- & Fjordane, Stryn, Olden & Loen etc in the long distance horizon. In good weather you can also see the main mountain of Bergen, Ulriken with its light at the top.

The residency is located in Straume, within the Øygarden municipality, conveniently positioned just outside of Bergen. It is easily accessible from Flesland Airport, Bergen Train Station, and Bergen Bus Station (Skyss Platform/GATE G).

The area features excellent public transportation options to the near Bergen countryside/AR and other OCEAN based facilities, shops & shoppping centers 15 min away by bus or bikecycle, pharmacies etc.

Art R’et will provide daytime seminars and short-term accommodation, including full-time and exclusive short-term rentals for up to five guests (one room will be designated for security reasons concerning personal belongings and artwork).
